Safari Zone [Beta Testing Story-driven Safaris!]

Welcome to the Safari Zone! The Safari Zone has a Pokémon type which is changed each week. During that week, a special Pokémon of the declared type may appear. A ticket for the Safari Zone can be purchased for 350 Game Points. This ticket also includes 15 Safari Balls.

You will have to purchase items for helping you catch encountered Pokémon. These are the items available at the gate:
Pokémon Food (+5 Capture Rate) [Costs 50 Game Points.]
Pokémon Trap (+10 Capture Rate) [Costs 100 Game Points.]
Laser Pointer (+15 Capture Rate) [Costs 150 Game Points.]
Safari Balls (extra) (Special Pokéball) [Costs 50 GP for 1, 200 GP for 5 (special offer), 500 GP for 10.]

The more of the items you use, the more likely it will be to capture the Pokémon. However, the Pokémon has a 20% chance to flee, so be careful. You can choose not to purchase any additional items, though the capture rate is defaulted as 20%.

Safari Zone Discount Tickets
You can redeem a Safari Zone Discount Ticket to reduce the price of entering the Safari Zone to 150 GP. You can gain Discount Tickets through the following methods, and sometimes prizes for events will include Discount Tickets.

Winning a Normal Battle (50% chance)
Winning a Gym Battle (75% chance, this includes the Gym Leader)
Winning a Planet Battle (90% chance)

You can enter the Safari Zone twice a week. You can exit at any time, and you will automatically exit after you have run out of Safari Balls.

A Pokémon Ranger will guide you through the Zone.
